World Championship Dates Now Finalised - Here We Go!

We are pleased to advise you that the GolfCross World Championship Finals will be held over the weekend of 29th & 30th September 2007 at the prestigious
WHITTLEBURY PARK GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB, TOWCESTER, NORTHAMPTONSHIRE
We are sorry for the delay in this communication, but due to television schedules only just being released, we have not been able to provide you with the information prior.
5 courses are now open and ready for you to play in order to gain your GolfCross Handicap, to play qualifying games and for knock-out rounds. These are listed near the bottom of this page. Please confirm your attendance by completing and returning the attached form to reach us in time for you to book and play the 2 Handicapping and 2 Qualifiying games by 9th September 2007. Please return forms by either e-mail, fax or post to Head Office Address as detailed at the bottom.
No late entries will be accepted.

How Its All Going To Work
The full details of the handicapping system, the qualifying process, the knock-out stages and the actual finals will be sent on the confirmation of your attendance by the receipt by us of your completed form, but the basics are;

July / August 2007
First things First!
Between the receipt by us of your attendance and the 12th of August, you will need to book 2 slots and play two 9-goal games. These can be played on the same day if preferred. Your 2 cards from these games will be given to the pro at each location, after each individual game, from this you will be allocated your GolfCross Handicap within a few days.

August / Sept 2007
Secondly To Qualify
After achieving your handicap and before the 9th September, you will need to book and play 2 games at the same course. Upon arrival you will be advised of your playing partner. The 2 games will be played over 9 goals and scores / winners will be entered onto the Leaderboard at Head Office.

September 2007 - K/O Rounds
The Knock-Out Rounds will be held between 10th & 23rd September 2007. You will be paired against an opponent and will play 2 matches over 9 goals at the same course.
September 2007 - The Finals
The finals of all categories will be held over the weekend of 29th / 30th September 2007.

Important General Information
There is no fee to pay to enter the GolfCross World Championships, however, you will have to pay the ‘yard fee’ at the local course to play, fees range between £10 / £15, please enquire at your course of choice for exact information.
This is an amateur event, so handicaps will apply.
